With Billy Stobo (from the legendary band Golden Buddha) at the helm of this L.A. based quartet, their mood-defining melodies and hard-driving rhythms deliver a rollercoaster sound with strong and irresistible charisma. AND NOW---the latest Stobo record "B" is finished with the help of L.A.'s Out-A-Control Barry Conley at the helm, and the sweet mastering of Gavin Lurssen. It was recorded at The Ship Studio in L.A., and will be released by Fork Tongue Records by the end of the Summer. All the while the band has been playing around town with the likes of BECK , MARK FORD (Black Crows), and ME'SHELL N'DEGEOCELLO. And they even had some great jams withSTEPHEN PERKINS (the happiest drummer in Rock) at a benefit show.
After finishing their first tour together, the cross-country 'Science of Fun Tour' which was a wild success - great shows - beautiful people - old friends - plenty of drunkeness - near arrests - shit stolen - nudity - and perfect weather (thankfully, since they were cruisin in their friend Brien's famed 1971 Dodge mini motorhome "Utopia" that leaked pretty bad), there have been some lovely shows with the bands'The MORNING 40 FEDERATION' (from N. Orleans), 'FITTER' and 'AFIXION', and shows on the beach in Venice with 'SUGAR BITCH'. Plans for a Summer tour up the West coast are in the works.
